Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work on end to end agile development of current and new innovative microservices and AWB based SaaS based applications, share your wealth of commercial experience and knowledge by providing technical mentorship to the existing development team and ensure best practice in quality software development and security standards.  As an innovator of SaaS solutions, you will also be proactive in adopting the latest technologies and tools to ensure our solutions evolve to create and lead new markets.


Software development of the core product within an agile development structure.  This will include co creation of product specifications with business analysts, a mixture of both front and back end development and development of automated test environments.

Skills and Competencies

Successful candidates will possess expertise in the following;

  • Strong commercial experience as a Java / JavaScript, Full Stack Developer of microservices and AWS solutions  

  • Proven ability to translate business concepts into a robust and commercially viable technical solution

  • Understanding of relational database design and modelling

  • CI/CD experience is highly desirable (containerised deployment - Docker, AWS ECS)

  • Solid understanding of AWS environments including ECS, Fargate, S3, SQS and related technologies

  • Experience with testing tools/processes (automated tools including Selenium and Cucumber would also be highly regarded) 

  • Flexible approach to work and can quickly adjust to changing priorities 

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and proactive in collaborating and driving clarity

  • A strong problem solver and critical thinker who thrives in a fast moving, often undefined environment 

  • Proactive in keeping updated with emerging technologies.

  • Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills (verbal & written)

  • Willingness to share knowledge and strong collaborator
